The service, while friendly and good with children, showed signs of being short-staffed. The location is quiet and near Colchester, despite occasional noise disturbances during late hours. Dining provided good value for money, with some minor issues in service speed. Overall, a decent stay with a few drawbacks.

The noise from the slamming fire door in the corridor was quite bothersome. The location was great for visiting family and accessing town centers, but the presence of a railway line with continuous train noise disrupted the tranquility. My stay at the Colchester Holiday Inn was absolutely fabulous! The rooms were lovely and clean, the food was delicious, and we were looked after exceptionally well by the fabulous staff. Having access to the health center during our stay was a great perk, and we left very happy, definitely planning to stay again.
